At Vertex she leads client engagements leveraging Big Data technology to reduce risk, improve tax process efficiency, and enhance strategic decision making. Prior to joining Vertex in 2017, Kendall spent 20 years with a Big Four accounting firm and five years as a Director of Development for a tax software company. She holds a master's degree in taxation.

David LandersDavid Landers, Partner, Deloitte LLP

David Landers has been in the tax industry for more than 20 years, and is currently the leader of Deloitte's Tax Data Management and Analytics offering. He works with large and mid-sized global companies in the areas of tax accounting, tax process improvements, and accounting periods and methods planning. His team uses the latest Web-based portal and Big Data technologies to provide visibility into and organization for the multitude of processes across the tax department, helping to move organizations from the traditional historical view of tax to true insight using predictive analytics to achieve organizational value.

Stephen FrancisStephen Francis, Tax Specialist Leader, Deloitte LLP

Stephen Francis has more than 25 years of experience as a tax technology leader in both Big Four and corporate environments. He previously served as the Director of Tax Systems for General Electric (GE), where he built the GE Tax IT Team from the ground up. He led the team for more than 17 years, and focused on providing tax operations with scalable and flexible systems in support of a large and dynamic tax structure. In his current role, he advises companies on how to strategically advance their tax technology priorities and build capabilities within their tax departments.
